DTE Azomite 6 lb
Down To Earth™ AZOMITE®, the “A to Z Of Minerals Including Trace Elements,” is a natural trace mineral product formed from the dust of an ancient volcano in central Utah. DTE™ AZOMITE® can improve root system growth, crop yields, quality and flavors. The slow-release format is virtually dust-free and spreads easily on fields, garden soils and lawns or can be blended with other fertilizer materials as a trace mineral resource to help meet plant nutritional needs. It can be applied directly or in combination with composts, fertilizers, manures or soil inoculants.

Vegetable Gardens & Flower Beds:
To prepare smaller gardens, apply 1/4 cup per square foot and thoroughly mix into the top 3″ of garden soil in spring or fall. For larger gardens, apply 1-2 lbs per 10 square feet and thoroughly mix into the top 3″ of garden soil in spring or fall. For new transplants, add 1 tbsp. per hole, mix into soil and water in well.
For new plantings, add 2-3 tbsp. per gallon of soil and mix thoroughly or add 0.5-1 lb per cubic yard. For established plants, lightly mix 1 tbsp. per gallon into the soil surface every other month during the growing season.
Trees, Shrubs & Vines:
Spread 1 lb per 2″ of trunk diameter around the base outwards to the drip line, mix into soil surface and water in well. For grapes, apply ½-1 lb to the soil around each plant and thoroughly mix into soil. For new trees, prepare transplant hole and mix 4-8 oz with the backfill soil. Use the amended soil to fill in around the new tree and water in well.
Apply 75-150 lbs per acre initially, followed by annual maintenance applications of 50-100 lbs per acre or according to specific crop needs and soil quality.
