Cheese Kits and Supplies:

We now offer cheese making kits and supplies as well as books about home cheese making. Varieties include Mozzarella, Paneer & Queso, and Goat Cheese. Each kit contains everything you need to make 10-12 batches of delicious, homemade cheese except the milk. No, you don’t need your own cow or goat. The kits work with simple pasteurized milk from the grocery. We also have vegetarian rennet and other refill items.

Beer Brewing Grains

Beer making supplies are here! We have a good, basic assortment of hops, extracts, bottles etc. Beginning in mid-March of 2010, we will carry several basic varieties of malted barley for your home brewing needs both by the scoop and in full 50 lb. bags. These are exactly the same brewing grains that local brewing supply stores carry, but we will have the lowest prices in town! Why? Because, like our feeds, we buy in large quantities and have the facilities to store and sell them easily. Come by and let us know what other brewing supplies we should carry.

Pasture Raised Meat and Eggs

Through partnerships with two local ranches, we will soon be offering both USDA inspected pre-packaged meats and small CSA shares of organic grass fed beef (CSA only). Look for the freezer full of packaged meats to arrive by the end of the year. The CSA is available now - call or stop by for more information.
