We are currently accepting applications for one or more positions in customer service at our Portland, Oregon location. We encourage applicants with at least some customer service or managerial experience to apply. Urban farming (ie. vegetable growing, chicken keeping, food preserving etc.) experience is preferred, but it’s more important to be able and willing to learn. Following instructions and protocols is an especially important trait for these positions. Therefore, only those applicants who follow the detailed instructions below will be considered. 

We will be collecting applications throughout the year to create a pool of qualified applicants. For this particular round of hiring, expect interviews to begin in the first week of February and a hire to be made quickly thereafter.

This position involves working at least one and probably two weekend days. There will also be at least two weekday shifts for a total of 3-4 days working. Most shifts are 8 hours a day, but start and end times vary. 

The rate of pay begins at $9/hr. There is a probationary period of 90 days and raises are given at a rate of $.25/hr following each successful review (occurring every 6 months after end of probationary period).
